This regulated and nationally recognised 1-day course equips learners with the skills and knowledge to respond confidently to a range of paediatric first aid emergencies. Designed in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, it is suitable for childcare staff with Level 2 or 3 qualifications, newly qualified early years staff, and anyone caring for infants or children, including parents, guardians, and volunteers.

LEVEL 2 AWARD IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND SAFE USE OF AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (RQF)

International resuscitation guidelines recommend training in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to save lives. This regulated and nationally recognised 2-hour course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to perform basic life support (BLS) and safely use an AED in emergencies.
The course is designed for individuals with a specific interest or responsibility—at work or in voluntary/community settings—to provide BLS and use an AED during emergencies.
